ALMATY BRANCH: great move
On the first days of July Almaty Branch employees moved to a new office which is located: 45 G. Rozybakiyev st. (corner of Bolotnikov st.). Soon there will be a 5th anniversary, so Almaty Branch employees have a double reason to be happy. We congratulate the branch on moving to a new home and wish all success.

TARAZ BRANCH: helping children
On June 27, children’s house “Ulan” in Taraz city were doled in the amount of 78 000 tenge. 5 washing machines were bought for this money. Staff was really happy to have received all this, since it will be a lot easier.

Conference in Budapest
From June 7 – 9, 2006 a joined conference organized by MFC and EMFC (European Microfinance center) was held in Budapest (Hungary). 550 participants came to the conference from different countries. Kazakhstan Loan Fund was represented by the General Manager Zhussuopov Shalkar, Credit Department Manager Akimzhanova Gulshat and Investments Manager Raikhanova Karlygash.

KLF team has grown
From June 12-17 Almaty hosted an extensive training for credit department interns. All in all there were 16 participants: 4 from Almaty branch; 4 – from Taldykorgan branch; 3 - from Turkestan branch; 4 – from Astana branch; Loan Officer from Taraz branch also attended the training. More

SHYMKENT BRANCH: conversation with officials
In mid June Regional government held a workshop “Kazakhstan private enterprises’ law application practices of Kazakhstan law on private enterprises” under the initiative of Ministry of Trade and Industry. It was held to raise public awareness, so that entrepreneurs did not have difficulties with practical application.

ASTANA. May 27. Micro loans will be more accessible for the population, including rural population. Such note was done by the Government when it submitted a draft of amendments into current law “On Micro credit organizations” to Mazhilis committee on financial and budget issues.
